As a basis the book is about a young girl with a love of farming. She is devoted to her family's farm until she is made to move else where. In the midst of her move she finds a family in need. Her love for the family grows and she in turn wants to help this family out of the situation they have been put into. Using her skills and resources she sets out to save the family farm...
The family's son returns home after rehab to find that his world is turned upside down. His intentions of selling the farm and moving away from this life style are quickly dashed and he is faced with the reality of a women saving the farm.
Overall this book was pretty good.. I personally love a good Amish based love story. The book was so easy to relate to and become engulfed in. When I start reading a book I love the one you just can't put down! Through the book you become so entangled in everything going on. You feel for her because there was a someone for her, but she just wasn't ready. In refusing she has moved away and found a new love... a new family to help. Just as things are looking better and more positive everything changes. The son comes home with dreams and plans of the city. I got so caught up in the characters and what was going on. I love a good book that you can get so caught up in that you are playing the book like a movie in your head while reading.
I personally love reading anything fictional about the Amish, there is something so appealing about their simple lifestyle especially in a world so materialistic. I would recommend this book and this author! I love when I can find a good author that doesn't have to use indecent dialog to make a book sell!

Thanks for sharing Meagan, I too love the simplistic life of the Amish... not sure I could follow them but I agree we are all a little too materialistic these days:) Thank you for sharing
